The Keller-Chambers House

Step back in time...quiet neighborhoods, tree lined walks, and breathtaking
sunsets...and you'll be at the Keller-Chambers House, a turn of the century
Victorian home, in the Lincoln-Fairview Historic District of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The view from the front porch is the Lincoln Monument - This impressive pylon
was erected in July, 1911 and commemorates Abraham Lincoln's visit to the site
in 1859. From this site, Lincoln viewed and selected the Eastern Terminus of the
first transcontinental railroad built on the United States.

Centrally located in Downtown Council Bluffs, the Keller-Chambers House is just
minutes from downtown Omaha, Nebraska and the Old Market District.
A stay at the Keller-Chambers House guarantees that you'll be treated like part of
the family, while enjoying a private room beautifully appointed to suit the era.

•        If the outdoors are what you desire, you may enjoy the exquisite beauty of
our enchanting backyard deck or inviting front porch.

•        While located in its own quaint little spot, the Keller-Chambers House is
surrounded by Omaha/Council Bluffs history, entertainment and culture. The
Joslyn Museum, Western Heritage Museum, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts
and the Omaha Botanical Gardens are among some of the historical sites. Enjoy
shopping at one of the many local malls, malls with exclusive stores and many fine
restaurants.

•        If culture is your desire, The Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha, The Holand
Performing Arts Center and The Orpheum Theater offering the finest music,
theater and stage are only a short drive away.

•        The Keller-Chambers House is just 5.75 miles to Creighton University, 6
miles to University of Nebraska Medical Center, 9 miles UNO, 4.7 miles to Quest
Center and 4 miles Mid America Center and Casinos.

•        Private Rooms are The Renaissance Rose
s Room,  The Magnolia Room
and The Orient Express Room. All private rooms are on the second floor
accessed by stairs.
