Word-of-Mouth:Oral Health Education Connection
"The mouth is a ``mirror for general health & well-being"

A non-profit organization formed to prevent and control oral diseases, conditions, and
injuries and improve access to related services.

WOM is the acronym for Word-of-Mouth: Oral Health Education Connection, a program
that serves children, homeless & elderly in southwest Iowa.

WOM was founded in 2002 by dental hygienist Ann Keller Chambers in honor of Douglas
Keller DDS, FACD, FICD who for 50 years provided quality dental care, inspired dozens to
become dental professionals, served on local, district and state dental boards for many
years and taught us to help those in need.

WOM relies heavily on volunteers to operate on a daily basis. WOM relies on grants,
private donations, and donations from dental suppliers and wholesalers.
